Our Doctors
DR. MICHELE D’ADAMO is a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the state of New Hampshire. She is the owner of the D’Adamo Institute with expertise on provision of short and long-term Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Working collaboratively with her clients, she offers short-term strategies for dealing with such difficulties as: stress, anxiety, depression and their effects on one’s physical state. Dr. D’Adamo holds a PH.D in Health Psychology from Capella University, an M.S. from New England College, and a B.S. from Granite State College. A certified holistic psychologist she offers hypnotherapy, and advanced energy work including Reiki and Shamballa. She has completed Harvard Medical School’s Intensive Clinical Training in Mind Body Medicine, with Dr. Herbert Benson which included psychoneuroimmunology the comprehensive review of how mind/body interactions impact physiologic resilience. In addition she is a Certified Mental Health Integrative Medical Provider. Dr. D’Adamo offers treatments by phone and in person.
ROBERT J. MEDREK, N.D. started as an Associate Naturopath in Toronto in 1991, trained exclusively by Dr. James D’Adamo. He is presently the Clinic Director of the D’Adamo Institute’s Portsmouth office. He is a graduate of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, with a Doctor of Acupuncture degree from the Ontario Academy of Naturopathic Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. He has conducted extensive studies in the areas of nutrition, iridology and homeopathy. Dr. Medrek is licensed to practice Naturopathy and Acupuncture in New Hampshire, USA. He is the recipient of the 1990 and 1991 Best Clinician’s Award by the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine.
DR. TERESA VANDERLINDE DO, FACOG, CSC has been a well-respected Board Certified Gynecologist and Surgeon on the seacoast for decades. She worked with Dr. James D’Adamo and has served The D’Adamo Institute for many years as the Lab Director for the Blood Type Diet®. Dr. Terri has an award winning practice in Dover, NH, where she treats patients needing another solution to their feminine issues. In addition, she is an AASECT Certified Sex Counselor, offering additional support and resources to address all aspects of vaginal health and sexual enjoyment.

Our Staff
Diane is the Office Manager for the D’Adamo Institute. Diane brings over 25 years of administrative experience in Office Management, Human Resources, and Accounting. She assists in the development and implementation of policies and procedures; manages and oversees the administration of HR policies, programs and practices within the clinic; she maintains accounts payable, receivables and monthly billing. She has been an employee of the clinic for over 18 years.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, exploring the beautiful countryside of Maine, boating and travelling the world.
Natasha, our newest member to the team, greatly contributes to the experience of D’Adamo Institutes patients by consistently maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the various rooms and facilities.
When Natasha is not at the clinic, she enjoys spending time with family, drawing, writing and reading.
Schuyler, our wellness writer and scheduling assistant, has an extensive history working in the health industry. She is a recent graduate of UNH with a Nutrition and wellness degree. She is passionate about health and well-being, and is a firm believer that it is never too early or too late to start taking care of our bodies: it’s the only one you get! She looks forward to working with each individual guest and guiding them in the right direction towards a healthy lifestyle.

Maria is certified in colon irrigation and a variety of other treatments offered at the Institute. Her cheerful disposition and encouragement is undeniably contagious. From administering nutritional IV’s to Ginger therapy exclusive to the D’Adamo Institute, Maria is extremely versatile and always ready to offer suggestions on how best to implement the D’Adamo Diet. Her favorite part of working at the Institute is: “seeing the improvement in our patients.”
When Maria is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, travelling and gardening.
